PlateIt Terms of Use

Welcome to PlateIt, a platform dedicated to discovering and sharing meals, whether from your favorite restaurant or home-cooked dishes. PlateIt is owned and operated by Crouch Consolidated LLC DBA PlateIt. By accessing or using PlateIt, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (User Agreement) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

User Agreement

  1. Meal Content and Responsibility - PlateIt allows users to post and share meal images and descriptions from restaurants and personal kitchens. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or quality of the content shared on the platform.
  2. Restaurant and Meal Reviews - PlateIt users may post reviews, ratings, and comments on restaurants and meals. PlateIt does not verify or endorse the opinions expressed in these reviews.
  3. Public Locations and Restaurant Safety - PlateIt encourages users to share meals from reputable and safe locations. PlateIt is not responsible for the safety of any restaurant or home where the meal is sourced.
  4. Content Responsibility - PlateIt provides a platform for users to connect and share content. We do not guarantee the accuracy or usefulness of any information on the site and disclaim liability for any errors or omissions.
  5. User Conduct - By using PlateIt, you agree not to post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on the rights of others. PlateIt reserves the right to remove any content or terminate accounts for violations of this User Agreement.
  6. Intellectual Property - All content on PlateIt, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of PlateIt or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.
  7. User Content License - By posting content on PlateIt, you grant PlateIt a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and publish the content in connection with our services.

Indemnification

In consideration for using this website and App, users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PlateIt, its owners, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, actions, demands, lawsuits, suits in tort and/or negligence, sole negligence, gross negligence, fraud, misrepresentation, criminal acts, contract, intentional acts, debts, liabilities, judgments, and settlements, including without limitation, reasonable attorney and legal fees arising out of or related to any use of our service or your violation of the User Agreement.

This indemnification includes but is not limited to any claims, actions, demands, lawsuits, suits in tort and/or negligence, sole negligence, gross negligence, fraud, misrepresentation, contract, intentional acts, criminal acts, liabilities, judgments, and settlements, including without limitation, reasonable attorney and legal fees arising out of or related to conduct by a user or third-party using this website, App, or any service provided by PlateIt.
